This product was in development but I am not happy with the consistency as lard doesn't behave like tallow. This product will need more experiment and development before I bring it to the shop permanently. The benefits of the ingredients are still great, but the consistency isn't my favorite. This will be sold way less than cost and without labels. I'd rather it get used than thrown out!

The Benefits

Lard is not limited to the kitchen! High quality lard from pastured hogs is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin E, A and D. This traditional fat is very similar in make up to our skin, which makes it very gentle and readily absorbed. It is wonderful as an oil-cleanser or a deep moisturizer, locking in hydration that continues to nourishes the skin. Leaf-lard, used in our Luscious Lard serum, is the highest-quality tier of lard. This fat comes from around the organs of the pig, and contains higher amounts of vitamins.

Lard is known to:

* Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
* High amount of Vitamin D boosts collagen production
* Tone and firm for a more youthful look
* Even out color and reduce redness associated with rosacea
* Reduce dryness associated with conditions like eczema (or winter weather)
* Even out texture for a smoother, softer feel
* Heal acne
* Reduce the appearance of pores

Australian Emu Oil is refined from the fat of emu birds, native to Australia. Traditionally used for sun protection among Australian aboriginals, Emu oil may provide some SPF and is beneficial for healing sunburns. Emu oil deeply hydrates the skin by helping to prevent water loss, and helps heal wounds and blemishes. It is a potent anti-inflammatory, rich in anti-oxidative properties to nourish the skin, slow down wrinkle formation, and ease other aspects of the aging process. The anti-inflammatory aspects of emu oil may offer some relief for arthritic pain.

Cold-pressed Olive Oil is known for its many useful applications in the kitchen and in body care. In skin care, it provides deep hydration by reducing water loss, while its anti-inflammatory benefits work to soothe and soften. Quality olive oil contains a wealth of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals to offer the skin.

Vitamin E oil is antioxidant-rich and can improve your blood circulation. Its moisturizing properties can make your skin look firm and youthful, as well as helping to slow down the skin aging process. The combination of vitamin A (in things like beeswax) and vitamin E may help in removing acne-causing bacteria. Vitamin E can also reduce hyperpigmentation and scarring.

Beeswax helps lock in moisture and can act as a protective barrier for your skin. It is rich in Vitamin A and can help protect your skin from environmental damage. Beeswax also has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-fungal properties and has been known to help heal acne, eczema, psoriasis, and stretch marks.

Coffee has powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and wound healing properties. The caffeine in coffee grounds and oil boosts microcirculation of the blood, which aids in overall skin health.

- Rich in antioxidants, including Vitamin E
- Anti-inflammatory properties balance, tone, firm, and heal the skin
- Caffeine dilates blood vessels, which soothes the skin and temporarily reduces the appearance of cellulite
- Unique UVB filtering properties
- Anti-aging; combats discoloration and wrinkles
- Beneficial and healing for acne, eczema, and rosacea

Myrrh helps to fade blemishes and discolorations on the skin, soothes itchiness, and can reduce symptoms of eczema. It cleans, moisturizes, and tightens the skin, thereby reducing and preventing further damage.

Chamomile accelerates cell and tissue renewal, and may help reduce signs of aging by protecting the skin from free radical damage. It is wonderfully soothing for many skin conditions, and helps to decrease inflammation and heal blemishes.

Echinacea is antioxidant, hydrating, anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial, making it a wonderful addition to your skin care routine.
