A purifying, healing ocean plunge in a jar. All the therapeutic benefits of sea salt are now at your fingertips, so you can say hello to cleansed, nourished, and exfoliated skin. This scrub is amazing for balancing out persistent acne, dryness, itchiness, eczema, or fungal breakouts — whether on the face or body.

Face: Wet the skin generously with warm water and apply a small amount of the scrub onto damp face. Massage very gently to exfoliate. Rinse away.

Body: In the shower with wet skin, massage Sea Scrub gently across the body, focusing in on areas of dryness or imbalance. Rinse away.

Ingredients: Sea Salt, Grass-Fed Suet Tallow, Australian Emu Oil, Vanilla Bean-infused Golden Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E Oil*, Blue Spirulina*, Frankincense Essential Oil*, Lavender Essential Oil, Blue Tansy Essential Oil*

The Benefits

Sea Salt is a nourishing, mineral-rich exfoliant that helps to regulate oil production and cleanse pores without over-drying. The purifying, antimicrobial nature of sea salt helps to balance out bacterial and fungal issues, while also providing vital nutrients to the skin. In cases of persistent eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, acne, and fungal issues, many people have taken a beach trip only to (accidentally) find that the salty sea has helped to clear up their symptoms. There's not much that a little salt and sun can't do!

Blue Spirulina is rich in antioxidants and contains all nine essential amino acids, making it a complete protein that is full of nutrients for your skin. The abundance of fatty acids in blue spirulina help your skin to receive and retain moisture, while stimulating collagen production to help reduce fine lines and signs of aging. Spirulina's anti-inflammatory benefits work to heal and soothe skin woes like acne, eczema, and beyond. Blue Spirulina is also believed to be effective in combating skin issues caused by candida and other fungal imbalances. This uniquely potent algae is a dreamy, nourishing addition to any natural skincare routine!

Grass-fed Suet Tallow is rich in the same types of lipids found in youthful, vibrant skin and is packed full of Vitamins A, D, E, and K. The fatty acids in tallow are more bioavailable than plant based oils because tallow is much closer in molecular structure to the oils our own skin produces. Tallow is non-comedogenic, locking in moisture without clogging your pores.

Australian Emu Oil is the star of the show! This wonderful oil is refined from the fat of emu birds, native to Australia. Traditionally used for sun protection among Australian aboriginals, Emu oil may provide some SPF and is beneficial for healing sunburns. Emu oil deeply hydrates the skin by helping to prevent water loss, and helps heal wounds and blemishes. It is a potent anti-inflammatory, rich in anti-oxidative properties to nourish the skin, slow down wrinkle formation, and ease other aspects of the aging process. The anti-inflammatory aspects of emu oil may offer some relief for arthritic pain.

Vanilla Bean-infused Jojoba oil smells delightful! Low in PUFAs, Jojoba Oil has lovely anti-inflammatory properties which help to tame chaffing and chapping, reduce redness caused by drying, ease the effects of eczema and rosacea, and keep skin calm and comfortable. The Vitamin E and B-complex vitamins in jojoba oil also help in skin repair. Jojoba is similar to our own skin’s sebum, making it bio-adaptable and easy to absorb without clogging pores.

Vitamin E oil is antioxidant-rich and can improve your blood circulation. Its moisturizing properties can make your skin look firm and youthful, as well as helping to slow down the skin aging process. The combination of vitamin A (in things like egg yolks, beeswax, etc.) and vitamin E may help in removing acne-causing bacteria. Vitamin E can also reduce hyperpigmentation and scarring.

Blue Tansy Oil: more than a gorgeous indigo color! Topical application has skin-soothing properties and helps to reduce the appearance of blemishes on the skin. Blue Tansy is nicknamed Moroccan chamomile because it comes from the chamomile family and exhibits similar properties. It is good for skin conditions like dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, and acne, and it has a light, pleasing floral smell to boot.

Lavender helps reduce redness and inflammation, with antibacterial properties target acne from the inside out. Enjoy the restorative aromatherapy that accompanies this botanical’s trustworthy, healing ways.

Frankincense is a powerful astringent, which helps to protect skin cells. It can be used to help reduce blemishes and mask the appearance of large pores.  Frankincense may also help to lift and tighten the skin.

Vacation in a jar!

This scrub is sooo luxurious and smells amazing! A little jar of salty oasis (and pretending I’m on vacation). Works wonderfully on my face and body, gentle and moisturizing. It’s the only scrub I’ll use!

Got this product after hearing that it may help with my acne prone skin. The first thing I noticed is how amazing this product smells! I love how after I wash it off my skin the scent it leaves it nice and soft but also smelling wonderful! I have found it helps with my acne and use it anytime I feel like it's getting out of control. Really love this product and highly recommend it.

Bonus use

Works great on my very sensitive face and the best bonus was how well it has worked for my EXTREMELY itchy legs. It is the ONLY product that has consistently provided relief from the itching(and I’ve tried many). I love the smell and how hydrated, soft and protected it leaves my skin feeling!

Salty love! ☺️

I love this, I had stopped using anything on my face, except water and a wash cloth for a couple of years now, nothing seemed to fit, either it would dry my skin out, be to oily, causing acne (40+ years old pimples? No thanks) but with getting older 🙄 I did feel I needed to add a bit more to my face/neck routine

Started with the sanctuary face wash, seemed ok, but I felt I needed a bit more scrub action.

Grabbed this little blue gem of salty goodness, love it! Face/neck feels amazing! Perfectly balanced 😌

And as with the Sanctuary face wash if you accidentally get a bit in your mouth, all good., You just might be wishing you were sipping on a margarita with the salty goodness that just flooded your taste buds 😅
