Emu oil is refined from the fat of emu birds, native to Australia. Traditionally used for sun protection among Australian aboriginals, Emu oil may provide some SPF and is beneficial for healing sunburns. Emu oil deeply hydrates the skin by helping to prevent water loss, and helps heal wounds and blemishes. It is a potent anti-inflammatory, rich in anti-oxidative properties to nourish the skin, slow down wrinkle formation, and ease other aspects of the aging process. The anti-inflammatory aspects of emu oil may offer some relief for arthritic pain.

Squalane is similar to our own sebum, which makes it a wonderful moisturizer that won’t clog the pores. This squalane is derived from fermented sugarcane, with healing and anti-oxidative properties. 

Pearl Powder

Chamomile contains powerful anti-oxidants including polyphenols and phytochemicals. When applied to the skin, it may help reduce signs of aging by protecting the skin from free radical damage. It's wonderfully soothing, and helps to reduce redness and inflammation.

Frankincense is a powerful astringent, which helps to protect skin cells. It can be used to help reduce blemishes and mask the appearance of large pores. Frankincense may also help to lift and tighten the skin.

Echinacea root 

Helichrysum is known to have calming, soothing properties. Also called the 'Everlasting Flower', its oil is often incorporated into anti-aging skin aids. Helichrysum contains an anti-inflammatory substance called arzanol, which plays a part in healing wounds. Helichrysum can be used as a sun soother to calm irritated skin, as well as helping to promote healthy skin cell regeneration for a youthful glow.
