Why We Love It
- Pure, freeze-dried liver from New Zealand-raised, grass-fed cows
- Highly nutritious whole-food source of key vitamins and minerals
- Easily absorbed, REAL FOOD supplement
Beef liver is rich in retinol (vitamin A), B vitamins (including folate), copper, zinc, selenium, choline, CoQ10, vitamin K2, and more. These nutrients are naturally bound in peptides and amino acids, accompanied by cofactors, enabling effortless absorption and rendering them far superior to their synthetic counterparts. FRTIL beef liver is sourced from grass-fed and grass-finished New Zealand bovine and freeze-dried to preserve and optimize overall effectiveness.*
This bovine liver is sourced from New Zealand; a temperate climate where cows can graze all year round on lush, green pasture. That matters, because animals that soak up the sun and feast on fresh vegetation are far more nutritious than animals that are overly grain-fed and overcrowded. Happy, healthy cows = super-nutritious liver.
Why Supplement with Liver?
Considered a sacred food in almost all traditional cultures, liver was consumed for strength, stamina, and healthy pregnancies. So why isn't it a staple food today? Organ meat doesn't agree with a lot of modern tastebuds, so that can be a hurdle for many. High-quality supplementation offers all the benefits of liver, without the taste. This is the good stuff: freeze-dried liver from New Zealand raised, grass-fed cows.
Grass-fed beef liver is an excellent source of natural, bio-available vitamins and minerals:
- A, D, K, E, and B12
- Folate
- Iron
- Choline
- Hyaluronic acid
- CoQ10
- Zinc
- Copper

This time around of purchasing grass-fed beef liver capsules look a little different and most definitely smell different than liver. I am skeptical if they are beef liver. I can't place the smell of the new capsules, but liver does not come to mind. Anyone else? I really liked the urban farm brand I had prior to this brand of frtil. Otherwise, loving the company and will continue to support their vision. I also purchased the Molly's laundry care and am excited to try them.
