For the best hydration, apply right after a shower or bath while your skin is still slightly damp. The blend of tallow, ghee, emu oil, jojoba, meadowfoam, cocoa butter, and beeswax helps seal in that moisture and keep skin feeling soft long after application.

Use daily from neck to toes or anytime your skin feels dry. A little goes a long way, so start with a small amount and add more as needed.

Tip: Keep it next to the shower and apply before your skin has completely dried. This is our favorite way to use it.

Golden Jojoba Oil | Technically a liquid wax ester rather than a traditional oil, jojoba closely resembles components of the skin’s natural sebum. It helps soften the skin, reduce moisture loss, and gives our body oil its silky, easy-to-spread texture.

Meadowfoam Seed Oil | A lightweight and exceptionally stable plant oil with a unique long-chain fatty acid profile. Meadowfoam helps condition the skin and reduce moisture loss while contributing to the silky, smooth finish of the formula.

Grass-Fed Suet Tallow | Naturally rich in skin-compatible fatty acids, including oleic, stearic, and palmitic acids. Tallow provides rich emollient moisture that helps soften dry skin and support its protective lipid barrier.

Grass-Fed Ghee | A clarified butterfat with a naturally rich lipid profile. Ghee acts as an emollient, helping condition and soften dry skin while adding richness to our pumpable tallow blend.

Pasture-Raised Emu Oil | An animal-derived oil naturally rich in fatty acids, particularly oleic, linoleic, and palmitic acids. Emu oil helps soften and condition dry skin while reducing moisture loss without an overly heavy or waxy finish.

Cocoa Butter | A deeply conditioning plant butter rich in saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids. Cocoa butter helps create an occlusive layer over the skin that slows moisture loss and supports softer, more supple skin.

Vitamin E | A lipid-soluble antioxidant that helps protect skin lipids from oxidative stress while conditioning the skin. It also helps support the oxidative stability of the oils in the formula.

Local Texas Beeswax | Helps form a protective, occlusive layer over the skin that slows transepidermal water loss and helps keep moisture from escaping.

Sweet Orange Essential Oil | Cold-pressed from sweet orange peel and naturally rich in aromatic compounds such as limonene. It gives Hillbilly Hippie its juicy, bright citrus opening.

Lavender Essential Oil | An aromatic botanical with a long history of use in skincare for its soothing and conditioning properties. Its soft floral aroma balances the brighter citrus and warmer spices in the blend.

Vanilla Absolute | A concentrated aromatic extract from real vanilla that brings a warm, creamy sweetness and helps soften the sharper citrus and spice notes.

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil | Distilled from ylang ylang blossoms, this richly aromatic oil brings a sweet, exotic floral note to the blend.

Cardamom Essential Oil | Distilled from cardamom, this aromatic oil adds a warm, slightly sweet and spicy note that gives Hillbilly Hippie some of its signature depth.

Sandalwood Essential Oil | A richly aromatic wood oil with a warm, creamy, earthy scent that grounds the sweeter floral and citrus notes.

Clove Bud Essential Oil | A highly aromatic spice oil naturally rich in eugenol. Clove adds a deep, warm spice note to the fragrance profile.

Steam-Distilled Lemon Essential Oil | Adds a fresh, crisp citrus note that brightens the fragrance and complements sweet orange.

Vetiver Essential Oil | A deeply earthy, woody aromatic oil distilled from vetiver roots. It gives the blend its grounding base and keeps the sweeter notes from becoming overly sugary.
