SERVING SUGGESTION
Serving Size for one cup of tea is around 1-3 tsp per 8 oz of hot (just below boiling) water. However, a different tea to water ratio may be used to strengthen or weaken the effects. Steep 10-20 minutes in a covered cup for maximum allergy reducing benefits. Covering, helps prevent any nutrients from escaping in the form of steam.
A stronger infusion can also be made by putting 1/4 cup of herbal tea in a quart mason jar, pouring hot water over it, and letting it sit overnight in the fridge before straining. This is my personal preferred method as my tea is ready to go every morning, I just make it at night and it's ready to go the next day in a strong infusion.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This tea takes time to build up in your system. If you really want to reduce your allergy symptoms you need to drink at least one cup (preferably two) every day. It's definitely a commitment. It would be much more convenient if we just had to drink a cup of tea once a month and reduce allergy symptoms, but that is not the way herbal remedies work. You and your health are worth the commitment. If you've had allergy/sinus problems for a while, they're not going to disappear overnight, or in a week or two. Please keep at it a while after you’re feeling better to ensure you STAY better. Other allergy tips- Supplementing with at least 1,000-3,000 mg of vitamin c powdered (in the form of powdered ascorbic acid or camu camu) every day as well if you have severe allergies, in addition to this tea to reduce histamine load.
