Benefits of Emu Oil:
Emu oil is the star of the Aussie Glow show! This wonderful oil is refined from the fat of emu birds, native to Australia. Traditionally used for sun protection among Australian aboriginals, Emu oil may provide some SPF and is beneficial for healing sunburns. Emu oil deeply hydrates the skin by helping to prevent water loss, and helps heal wounds and blemishes. It is a potent anti-inflammatory, rich in anti-oxidative properties to nourish the skin, slow down wrinkle formation, and ease other aspects of the aging process. The anti-inflammatory aspects of emu oil may offer some relief for arthritic pain.
Jojoba oil
Low PUFA Jojoba Oil has lovely anti-inflammatory properties which help to tame chaffing and chapping, reduce redness caused by drying, ease the effects of eczema and rosacea, and keep skin calm and comfortable. The Vitamin E and B-complex vitamins in the Jojoba Oil also help in skin repair. Jojoba is similar to our own skin’s sebum, making it bio-adaptable and easy to absorb without clogging pores.
Squalane Oil
Nourishing and luxurious moisture. Like jojoba oil, squalene is similar to our own sebum, which makes it a wonderful moisturizer that won’t clog the pores. This squalene is derived from olives, with healing and anti-oxidative properties.
Vitamin E oil
Vitamin E is antioxidant-rich and can improve your blood circulation. Its moisturizing properties can make your skin look firm and youthful, as well as helping to slow down the skin aging process. The combination of vitamin A (in things like egg yolks, beeswax, etc.) and vitamin E may help in removing acne-causing bacteria. Vitamin E can also reduce hyperpigmentation and scarring.
Blue Tansy Oil (Essential oil version)
Beautiful blue tansy: you are more than a gorgeous indigo color! Topical application has skin-soothing properties and helps to reduce the appearance of blemishes on the skin. Blue Tansy is nicknamed Moroccan chamomile because it comes from the chamomile family and exhibits similar properties. It is good for skin conditions like dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, and acne, and it has a light, pleasing floral smell to boot.
Turmeric
Turmeric is a strong anti-inflammatory and antiseptic agent that may be beneficial for areas of irritation and redness. It is believed to cleanse, clarify, smooth, calm, invigorate, and brighten the skin; generally supporting skin health. Turmeric may also diminish the appearance of blemishes and wrinkles.
Frankincense
Frankincense is a powerful astringent, which helps to protect skin cells. It can be used to help reduce blemishes and mask the appearance of large pores. Frankincense may also help to lift and tighten the skin.
Lavender
Calming, lovely lavender! Lavender helps reduce redness and inflammation. Its antibacterial properties help get deep within the pores and target acne from the inside out. Enjoy the heavenly and relaxing aromatherapy that accompanies this botanical’s trustworthy, healing ways.
Rose Petals (whole botanical version)
The anti-inflammatory properties of rose petals soothe the skin, while its anti-bacterial properties make them an excellent remedy for fighting acne and breakouts.
