A sun-kissed stroll at day’s end. A happy hen soaking up that summer evening glow. A blooming cactus flower reaching for those intoxicating red rays.

We could call our newest serum the ‘best-for-last hour’. The ‘dreamy desert hour’. The ‘worth-the-wait hour’. But, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it: we had to name her Golden Hour.

Otherworldly-glow-inducing seabuckthorn oil, handpicked pastured eggs, calming calendula, and sweet sugarcane squalane infuse lightweight jojoba oil. It’s the closest you can get to the sun in a bottle. Bask in it, and don your most radiant glow ever. You are now entering your Golden Hour.

Not just a pretty face. Golden Hour is…

  • Skin clearing
  • Radiance-bringing
  • Gentle + nourishing to every skin type
  • Antioxidant-rich, combating inflammation, acne + aging
  • Deeply soothing + hydrating
  • A nutrient powerhouse

Freeze-Dried Farm Fresh Egg Yolk

A healthy egg yolk should have the same rich, golden glow that it can give your skin. We handpick and freeze-dry pastured eggs from the happiest, healthiest hens we know. (Hint: they’re ours!)

We love knowing exactly where our ingredients come from, so they can be infused with as much nutrition and love as possible.  Yolks are rich in essential fatty acids which can lend moisture to the skin, creating a seriously radiant look. Applying egg yolks to your face helps to regenerate cells, and the vitamin B3 they offer is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Yolks are also high in Vitamin A, which is wonderful for acne prone skin. The proteins in eggs can help to improve elasticity, and vitamins D and E keep the sunny glow coming.

Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil

Brightening. Soothing. Sebum-matching. Moisturizing. Skin-stress-fighting. This sunny little fruit is heaven-sent for so many skin issues, and we can sing its praises all day long. If you have dry, sensitive, itchy, flaky, or acne-prone skin (or all the above), you may have found your soothing, nourishing match. Beyond vitamins A, C, and E, it also boasts vitamin D, which is not common in plant-based oils.

Sea buckthorn’s vitamin C concentration is out of this world, easily beating out many citrus fruits. That’s where this impressive botanical gets its rich orange hue. Fear not: while it does have a reddish tint until it absorbs, the oil doesn’t stain your skin. Seabuckthorn is known to support overall skin health, soothe irritation, and support your skin’s natural wound healing processes. Studies have even demonstrated the oil's positive influence on collagen synthesis! We could go on and on, be we can always talk more when you try it!

Fermented Sugarcane Squalane

Calming. Protecting. Hydrating. We love Squalane! The human body makes its own version of this skin-powerhouse, but the amount we make and keep decreases as we age. Sugarcane squalane steps in to replenish lost moisture for youthful glow and elasticity, while forming a protective barrier against the day-to-day stressors that impact your skin. It absorbs quickly and beautifully, for a weightless, dreamy softness.

Hibiscus Flower

This gentle, brightening toner brings a beautiful refinement to the skin’s texture and appearance. Hibiscus offers up an abundance of antioxidants for anti-aging, protective, and soothing benefits.

Low in PUFAs

Jojoba, Vitamin E, and Sea Buckthorn fruit oil are low in PUFAs (Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids). This means that the ingredients are stable, and less prone to oxidation. In contrast, many food and beauty products are made with high-PUFA oils, which become rancid and create inflammation throughout the body. We want your skin to be at its freest and happiest.

Organic Calendula Flowers

This sunny little flower is rich in antioxidants, and is very nourishing to the skin. It can help to soothe irritation and reduce sensitivity, as well as decrease redness. Calendula’s skin-soothing benefits can likely be attributed to its anti-inflammatory properties and ability to limit trans-epidermal water loss. This can strengthen the skin’s defenses against potential irritants. Calendula is also particularly rich in linoleic acid, the most abundant fatty acid in the skin’s natural moisture barrier. Thus, calendula can help to maintain skin hydration and health.

Vitamin E oil

Vitamin E is antioxidant-rich and can improve your blood circulation. Its moisturizing properties can make your skin look firm and youthful, as well as helping to slow down the skin aging process. The combination of vitamin A (in things like egg yolks, beeswax, etc.) and vitamin E may help in removing acne-causing bacteria. Vitamin E can also reduce hyperpigmentation and scarring.

Turmeric Root

Turmeric is a strong anti-inflammatory and antiseptic agent that may be beneficial for areas of irritation and redness. Turmeric is believed to cleanse, clarify, smooth, calm, invigorate, and brighten the skin; generally supporting skin health. Turmeric may also diminish the appearance of blemishes and wrinkles.

Frankincense Resin

Frankincense is a powerful astringent, which helps to protect skin cells. It can be used to help reduce blemishes and mask the appearance of large pores.  Frankincense may also help to lift and tighten the skin.
