Golden Hour Serum

Apply a few drops to clean, slightly damp skin and gently massage into your face and neck. A little goes a long way.

For the best hydration, mist with one of our hydrosols first and apply Golden Hour while your skin is still slightly damp to help seal in that moisture.

Use morning, evening, or both. Golden Hour can be worn on its own as your daily facial oil or layered underneath a balm when your skin needs a little more moisture.

Tip: If you prefer a lighter facial oil or avoid essential oils, Golden Hour is a great place to start.

Pastured Egg Yolks | From our own flock and freeze-dried by us. Egg yolks are naturally rich in fatty acids, phospholipids, proteins, and fat-soluble vitamins that help nourish and condition the skin while supporting softness, elasticity, and a healthy-looking skin barrier.

Jojoba Oil | Technically a liquid wax ester rather than a traditional oil, jojoba closely resembles components of the skin’s natural sebum. It absorbs beautifully, helps reduce moisture loss, and conditions the skin without a heavy or greasy feel.

Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil | Naturally rich in carotenoids, fatty acids, tocopherols, and other antioxidant compounds. Sea buckthorn helps nourish dry or stressed skin, support the skin barrier, and protect against oxidative stress. Its naturally occurring carotenoids give Golden Hour its beautiful golden-orange color.

Sugarcane Squalane | A lightweight emollient derived from sugarcane. Squalane helps reduce moisture loss, soften the skin, and support the skin barrier without feeling heavy, making it especially useful for lightweight facial formulas.

Calendula | Traditionally used to soothe dry, irritated, and sensitive skin. Calendula contains naturally occurring carotenoids and flavonoids with antioxidant properties that help support calm, healthy-looking skin.

Hibiscus Flower | Naturally contains antioxidant plant compounds and is traditionally used in skincare to support a bright, smooth, healthy-looking complexion.

Vitamin E | A lipid-soluble antioxidant that helps protect skin lipids from oxidative stress while conditioning the skin and supporting its natural barrier.

Turmeric Root | Naturally rich in antioxidant compounds and traditionally used in skincare to support calm, bright, even-looking skin.

Frankincense Resin | A resin traditionally used in botanical skincare for its soothing and conditioning properties. Golden Hour uses the whole resin in our botanical infusion rather than frankincense essential oil.

Essential Oil-Free | Golden Hour gets its color, aroma, and botanical benefits from the ingredients themselves. No essential oils or added fragrance.

Low-PUFA Base | Golden Hour is intentionally built around jojoba and squalane, two highly stable emollients, rather than relying on highly polyunsaturated oils as the primary base. This gives the serum excellent oxidative stability while providing lightweight, protective moisture.

Golden Hour gives you a LOT of nourishment in a surprisingly lightweight serum. Sea buckthorn brings naturally occurring carotenoids, fatty acids, and antioxidants, squalane adds lightweight hydration, and our jojoba infusion brings together pastured egg yolks and some of our favorite skin-loving botanicals. It absorbs beautifully, doesn’t rely on essential oils, and leaves skin incredibly soft with the prettiest natural glow.
