Golden Yolk Soap

Wet the bar and work it between your hands or onto a washcloth to create a rich, creamy lather. Massage onto wet skin, then rinse thoroughly.

Use from face to toes as your everyday cleansing bar.

To help your bar last longer, allow it to dry completely between uses on a well-draining soap dish rather than letting it sit in water.

Whole Eggs (Yolks + Whites) | Eggs naturally contain proteins, phospholipids, fatty acids, and other nutrients. The yolks add richness to the soap while the combination of yolk and white contributes to the creamy character of the finished bar.

Grass-Fed Tallow | A traditional soapmaking fat with a fatty acid profile particularly well suited to creating a hard, long-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather. Tallow is naturally high in stearic, palmitic, and oleic acids and gives Golden Yolk Soap much of its conditioning feel.

Raw Honey | A natural humectant that attracts water and has a long history of use in skincare. In soapmaking, honey also contributes sugars that help boost lather and give the finished bar a rich, luxurious feel.

Carrot Juice | Naturally contains carotenoids, including beta-carotene, that give carrots their vivid orange color. It replaces part of the liquid traditionally used in soapmaking and contributes to Golden Yolk's naturally sunny color and whole-food ingredient profile.

Turmeric Root Powder | Naturally rich in curcuminoids and other plant compounds. Turmeric gives the bar additional botanical character and contributes to its warm golden color.

Olive Oil | Rich in oleic acid and traditionally used to create mild, conditioning soaps. Once saponified, olive oil contributes to the bar's gentle cleansing properties and creamy lather.

Coconut Oil | An important part of the soap's cleansing and lather profile. Coconut oil is naturally rich in lauric and myristic acids, which help create a bubbly lather and effective cleansing bar.

Castor Oil | Naturally rich in ricinoleic acid and especially valued in soapmaking for supporting a rich, stable lather. We use it alongside our other fats and oils to round out the cleansing experience.

Traditionally Saponified | This is real soap made the old-fashioned way. Sodium hydroxide (lye) is used to transform the fats and oils through saponification. The bars are then fully cured before they reach you.

Ingredients: Grass-Fed Tallow, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Carrot Juice, Sodium Hydroxide*, Whole Eggs (Yolks + Whites), Turmeric Root Powder, Raw Honey

*Sodium hydroxide (lye) is required for traditional soapmaking. During saponification, the lye reacts with the fats and oils to create soap. Our bars are then cured before use.

It's basically a farm pantry turned into soap: tallow, eggs, raw honey, carrot juice, turmeric, and traditional oils. We wanted a real bar of soap that actually cleans well but still feels good on the skin, and this has been a family favorite for years. It also makes the perfect first step if you're using the rest of the Golden Yolk line.
