Milk & Honey Soap

Wet the bar and work it between your hands or onto a washcloth to create a rich, creamy lather. Gently massage over wet skin, then rinse thoroughly.

Use from face to toes as an everyday cleansing bar. Its simple, unscented formula makes it an especially good choice for dry, sensitive, or easily irritated skin and for families who prefer fragrance-free products.

After use, place the bar on a well-draining soap dish and allow it to dry completely between washes. Keeping handmade soap out of standing water will help your bar last much longer.

Raw Milk | Naturally contains fats, proteins, minerals, and lactic acid. The milk sugars also contribute to the soap's lather, while its natural fat content helps create the creamy, conditioning character that makes milk soaps particularly nice for dry and sensitive skin.

Raw Honey | A natural humectant that attracts and holds water. Honey contains sugars, amino acids, organic acids, enzymes, and other naturally occurring compounds and has a long history of use in topical skincare. In traditional soapmaking, its natural sugars also help boost lather.

Grass-Fed Tallow | Naturally rich in stearic, palmitic, and oleic acids. Tallow is particularly well suited to traditional soapmaking because it produces a hard, long-lasting bar with a dense, creamy lather and conditioning skin feel.

Olive Oil | Rich in oleic acid and traditionally used to create mild, conditioning soaps. Once saponified, olive oil contributes to the creamy lather and gentle cleansing profile of the finished bar.

Coconut Oil | Naturally rich in lauric and myristic acids, which provide cleansing power and help create a bubbly lather. We balance it with richer fats and oils so the finished bar cleans effectively without feeling overly harsh.

Castor Oil | Naturally rich in ricinoleic acid and particularly valued in soapmaking for helping create and stabilize a rich lather.

Unscented + Essential Oil-Free | No synthetic fragrance, essential oils, or added scent. This keeps the formula simple for sensitive skin and anyone who prefers fragrance-free body care.

Traditionally Saponified | Milk & Honey is real soap made using the traditional process of saponification, where sodium hydroxide reacts with the fats and oils to transform them into soap. The finished bars are then fully cured before use.

*Sodium hydroxide (lye) is required for traditional soapmaking. During saponification, the lye reacts with the fats and oils to create soap. Our bars are then fully cured before use.
